Why do people split up in a relationship or get a divorce?
Answer
They may just want different things
than they used to.
As we grow, things change and some people come to a place where they realise that they just want something quite different than they used to. No doubt it is hard for them and if they are parents, it is hard for the rest of the family too. If it is talked about, it will help everyone get through what might be a sad time for the whole family. Eventually, the sadness will pass and the kids will get to visit two homes and have lots of new experiences.
